Thank you for adressing what bisexuality means bc peoples reactions make no sense. I feel like after the Michaela thing many of them fear that Sophie might also get genderbended into a man. But yes, Benedict is bi. He´s officially attracted to men, but he is still clearly attarcted to women and can end up with female Sophie. That´s what I would´ve preffered for Francesca. No problem with her being bi but she can be bi and still end up with male Michael.

I always say that book to film adaptations should stay at close to the books as possible (EXCEPT when the books contain sth problematic or sth that´s just so illogical) BUT I don´t get the WHistledown reveal. Neither in the books nor in the show. In the books Pens identity gets revealed but there are no confrontations or consequences and she stops writting completely. In the show she still continues to write but again, no confrontations or consequences and there for sure won´t be any in future seasons. Which makes no sense because in the show Whistledown was much harsher and meaner than in the books. And her continuing writing despite this AND her writing and publishing openly now? WHAT!? ike I would´ve changed it for her too keep her identity but forming some sort of alliance with the Queen in the sense of promising her to never write anything nasty about the Queen or King again and in turn her keeping her idenitity a secret and leaving Pen and the Bridgertons alone. Also would´ve loved if Colin would´ve became "Lord Whistledown" in the sense of becoming Pens partner in crime and helping her not with writting but maybe with publishing and getting gossip.

I really disliked Benedicts story and "arc" this season but after watching your video and you pointing out all the little details that basically show the preparation for Benedicts season, I ldislike Benedicts story this season less. I still dislike it. They could´ve executed both his bisexuality and his loneliness & lost of passion for art much better, but hey at least I now know about these little details. Thanks ^^

I wonder if Allison will actually be a replacement for the character of Chris Rodriguez- probably with a bit more development, and possibly with a same-sex relationship appearing a couple seasons down the line? Pure speculation based only on being part of Luke’s army and a possibly reoccurring character.

I am going to frickin love this season since SoM is my fav PJO book, and I’m rlly excited to see what they do with Circes island, cuz that was my fav chapter. Being a kid (I’m not saying my age) who doesn’t rlly like some things about her appearance, seeing Annabeth be hurt when Circe said her hair needed to fixed made me cry (it hurt a lot more since in the book originally she has blonde curly hair, but I imagine her as she is in the show with braids and black hair) and seeing Percy dislike his clothes, acne, crooked teeth and how his hair wouldn’t stay in its place made me cry even more. I absolutely hated what they did with Circes island in the movie where they made it into Circe Land, like not only is that not subtle, but it also doesn’t even have Circe on it like wth. But anyway, chapter 12 was rlly relatable for me and I’m so excited to see what they do with it in the show. I’m also excited to see who they cast for Circe and Silena

You guys realize that Tom Holland was in his early 20s when playing Peter Parker right? And he looked fine in the movies, so what's the big deal if the actors are playing 15-16 year olds in their twenties?

I really hope aren’t replacing Ethan with Allison, trying to move up his storyline because they don’t know if they’ll get later seasons. Fingers crossed that’s not it and she’s just an addition like you said.

Great video! I learned a lot. But it's not pronounced McUltra like a cheese burger haha it's pronounced M.K. Ultra (a real life experiment- had many test subjects including Whitey Bulger!) but thank you so much for this video because I'm a huge fan of the show and actually didn't know a LOT of this. I don't know if I'm WILD about Henry's origin story with the cave system but hey it's something for now!

Oh I've heard about this, I wasn't actually bothered by this change though because for the story to actually work all of the plot lines would have to be the same as in the book, to keep things consistent. Oh, and it'll be funny if we constantly switch from Luke and Alison being serious as hell, all antagonistic like to Percy and Annabeth just trying to get to Grover. Oh I hope to goodness they really push into the comedic aspect for this season.

The only thing I'm looking forward to is that they bottle the MIST.

I'm excited for what Allison could bring to the show and personally hope she's the daughter of a minor god. While Aphrodite kids do get under-represented, I don't think they need the only two Aphrodite kids to be girls who serve Luke.

Sea of Monsters is my least favorite, but only because I just like the others better. Sea of Monsters was really cute to me because like, Tyson, but the others just had a bit more to the plot or something like that

Also, as much as we're interested about this new character. Like most people, I hope that she isn't a romantic interest for Luke. I kinda want her to be much older, sort of a role model, a primer for how much Luke would have to change. Given that we know she's been living outside of camp surving. And also because we started and ended season 1 with Percy being betrayed by Luke in a sense that he tries to convince Luke not to rebel. And I had been thinking about how would they make Luke be "the villain" that he was in book 2 and continue to make wrong decisions by the future seasons. And with that, I think the tensions between Percy and Luke, and Annabeth and Luke in the next season will be heartbreaking. Both Percy and Annabeth would go through lengths to get him back but he's already made up his mind. This, with Alison and backed up with Luke's Thalia flashbacks would be a reason why he'd have the guts to poison her tree. Im very much a fan of the devastating ship that is Thalia and Luke and I cant wait for them to add layers into that with the new character. To break my heart more because she's gonna wedge herself between Luke and Thalia (not romantically) and completely get Luke to really turn his back to Thalia. And for the writers to not force the romance in. Unlike what Rick did with Silena and Juniper for Luke aaand more notably everything in HoO.

I hate how miserable and how much doomposting I have been seeing in my twitter timeline regarding this news because they ran with it. Thinking that they have only started the casting now, when from the updates we've been getting for the past 3 months its more probably that they have already casted people for these characters for months now and only disclosed this much info that we have not known. Can we just get a grip people lmao Also, with the new character. Its weird that there are people already salty about it.

When I heard about the new original character the creators are going to add, I got super interesting. I really like that they are expanding on the story of the second book of Percy Jackson. I liked the book sea of monsters. My theory on the new character Allison, I do think she could be a daughter of a minor god/goddess or one of the Olympians. I do think because she is an adult and she's out of camp half blood, she has the point of view of both the mundane world and the demigod world. In the mundane world, I'm certain she has seen some mundane parents ignoring their child, not nice to their child and I think that is what going to in fuel more hatred towards the gods and goddesses. Since the gods and goddesses ignore their kids, and let's say she is a child of a minor god, and the Olympians gods/goddesses don't acknowledge them. I think Allison would have the same point of view with Luke about bringing back the "golden age." Not just for demigods and for them to be happy and in peace, but in way for mundane as well. Since the mundane believe Greek Mythology is all fake and made up stories in the Percy Jackson universe, (except for the one who can see through the mist) even if they don't understand what they are seeing, Allison will want the happy and peace for everyone. When I read that scene of Luke asking Annabeth if he loved her, my first thought in a few seconds was the same, Luke has a crush on Annabeth? But, then I thought and this is just my opinion, sometimes I mix both of my opinions. Maybe Luke always realized that Annabeth had a crush on him, so maybe he didn't want to ask her because he didn't want her to make her feel embarrassed. Since Luke was dying he decided to ask her if she loved him, he hoped she would say as a friend and brother because he knows and knew Percy has been a good person all this time, and he (Luke) has broken the promise and trust he had with Annabeth when she was younger as an older brother. Or it could be he did develop feelings towards her. (sometimes I think it's both opinions.)

I wish we had more scenes of penelope with the bridgerton's tbh, it would have felt more genuine that they saw her as part of the family.

Pen's excuses for writing about Colin were a bit gross. She was lashing out at him because she was angry, hurt and jealous, but as you said, that is the sort of conversation that should be kept between the two of them. The conversation they did have about it was great, but also soured by her initial response. She wants him the way she wants him, and didn't like that he changed, yet she's never once bothered to ask him why. Him believing that she lacks respect for him is completely understandable. I know she's a gossip, and a fundamental lack of consideration for other people's feelings and privacy is a given, but he was her friend for a long time. He always protected her, and saw her when nobody else did. What happened in 2x08 sucks, but one incident shouldn't negate all those years. Besides, Pen's intentional, pre-meditated, public attack on him was much worse than Colin's one-off, spur-of-the-moment comment to a limited number of people. All their conversations in S3 have been primarily focussed on her, largely because she let him believe he needed to earn back her friendship, when she'd already gotten her petty revenge. Her crush on him may have been one-sided in the first two seasons, but their friendship never was, until this season. Whether it's because the writers listened to all that toxic, entitled nonsense people kept saying about wanting to see Colin grovel, which is really gross, or for some other reason, that does not make for a healthy dynamic. I mean, she wanted him so badly for so long, but now that she has his love, she cares more about her ego? She'd really choose trashy gossip over the life she could have with him? Really?! Also, you were spot on about Eloise and Colin loyally keeping Pen's secrets, no matter how hurt and angry they were about them. Which is kind of ironic, since Penelope herself has little respect for anyone else's secrets.

At first when I first heard of them adding a new character I was like "oh no, this means lesser screen time for the known characters." But when I heard that it's for Luke's army I was like "this could actually work." But I hope in some point they also add Alabadter Torrington from Son if Magic.

im glad theyre (at least probably) adding a new character that adds insight into lukes army, but i really just wanted ethan and alabaster content. theyre probably going to be there, but i dont really see the point of adding an oc (except for a love interest for luke which, me personally, i would not like)

In terms of Alison’s godly parent, I also wonder if maybe her godly parent could be Dionysus. Even though there were only about three children of Dionysus at Camp Half-Blood in the books, I have always wondered what it’s like for them to have their father running Camp Half-Blood, but constantly seeing everyday that he doesn’t want to be there and would give anything to go back to Olympus. That has to really hurt for them, and if Alison is a daughter of Dionysus, it would be really interesting to see how her seeing him act like this, and feeling like he doesn’t care about her, contributed to her eventually joining Luke’s army.

Also luke only really become a good villian in the lasy book he kinda just becomes a moustache twirling villain for the most part

If I could choose a godly parent for Alison, I think I'd choose Nike. I can't recall any children of Nike in the series and it would be fun.
